1. Definitions
In these terms, the following words have the meaning set out next to them:
- The Academy: the FortuneCode Academy platform, operated by the company FortuneCode.
- The course: a set of recorded lessons, projects and quizzes that the Academy offers for sale.
- The student: every person who has created an account on the Academy.
- Enrolment: the right of the student to access a course after payment of its price is confirmed, or through a grant from the Academy.
- The content: everything the Academy presents, including video, text, files, quizzes and certificates.
2. Who may buy
The buyer must be at least 18 years old, or must buy with the consent of their guardian and under the guardian’s responsibility. You undertake that the details you register are true and complete, and that the account belongs to one person only.
3. The account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out from your account. Confirming your email address is required to activate the account. The Academy may suspend any account that breaches these terms.
4. Purchase and prices
The price of each course is an amount paid once, and the payment currency (Egyptian pound or US dollar) is set according to the visitor’s country. The prices shown are the amounts actually charged.
Discount coupons may be used in accordance with the conditions of each coupon. The contract is concluded when payment is confirmed, and we send you a receipt by email.
5. Access period
The course remains available to you for as long as the Academy offers it and the platform is operating. The Academy may withdraw a course from offer, and in that case the students enrolled in it keep their access for a period of no less than 12 months from the date the withdrawal is announced.
